What about my current Joomla site?
interGen clients who have already completed a Joomla 4 migration will be updated to Joomla 5 at no additional cost. That upgrade will happen as soon as we get word from the developers that all the extensions on your site are compatible with Joomla 5. We'll send you a note to let you know as soon as that happens.
interGen clients who have already approved a Joomla 4 migration will updated to Joomla 5 at no additional cost as well. If the extensions on your site are already compatible with Joomla 5, we'll skip right over Joomla 4 and take your site right to Joomla 5 when we do the migration. As soon as we complete your migration, we'll let you know whether it was to Joomla 4 or to Joomla 5. If we can't skip right to Joomla 5, we'll let you know as soon as the extension developers have a Joomla 5 version ready and upgrade at that time. Again, we'll send you a note to let you know when that upgrade happens.
interGen clients who have not yet approved a Joomla 4 migration: Now is the time! All migrations will need to be approved by August 2024 to keep your site secure and up and running. Once we hear from you on your migration approval, we'll be sure to let you know about the timeline for Joomla 5 as well.
